- To organize activities contributing to improved academic performance and professional competence of Nursing Students.
- To cater for the general welfare of all Nursing Students in the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife.
- To promote and stimulate the interest of Nursing Students toward their participation in leadership positions and contribute to health service delivery within the immediate community and nation at large.
- To uphold the ethics of the nursing profession.
- To promote mutual collaboration and cooperation among members of the Association and other Nursing Students Association worldwide.
- To promote contact with the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN), West African College of Nursing (WACN), International Council of Nurses (ICN) and other related professional bodies duly registered.
- To stimulate the interest of Nursing Students in scientific research, publications and the art of Nursing.
- To constantly make recommendations to academic boards and concerned stakeholders on means of improving the curriculum of nursing education and practice.
- To provide a forum for co-operation and interaction between Nursing Students and members of staff in the University.
